| Hey guys: So I was wondering, what kind of supplements does everyone take? I've been reading all kinds of things about all kinds of different supplements that are healthy and conducive to weight loss or help your mood, etc, but man, you start to try to supplement your diet and suddenly you're taking more pills than you can fit in one of those days-of-the-week pillboxes. So what do folks take and why? Does it make a difference?

| I take a multi and a gram or two of C. I hate taking pills and found that when I get past two or three, then I conveniently forget them all. :P

| I take: 1 Multivitamin 1 B complex 50 mg 2 C 500 mg 2 Capsules with: fish oil (omega 3), Coenzyme Q10, and Vitamin E There are a few other things that I might take as well such as melatonin to help me sleep (as needed). Note: melatonin should only be taken at night, because it promotes drowsyness, and will "tell" your body that it is time for sleep.

| I take 1 glucosamine daily (for bone/joint health), a multi-oil 3/day (it is a combination of evening primrose, flaxseed, wheatgerm, fish, and borage oils.), coral calcium 3/day, a Pancreatin (digestive enzyme) with every meal, and a Centrum multi-vitamin w/Lycopene. I am interested in minerals/vitamins now that I have somewhat studied enzymes. Scope out Barry Sears' theories about internal inflammations in the body...it is very interesting reading and will send you running for a bottle of fish oil capsules! I don't like taking pill, per se, but since I started myself on the digestive enzyme regimen, I have lived somewhat normally for the first time in a long time. I have heard alot about CoenzymeQ10 and B Complexes and chromium picolinate...maybe I better start researching those now...I wouldn't want to miss out on something that could benefit my health. If anyone reading this has any digestive problems or thinks they have IBS, I'd be glad to share my experiences with you. I believe I have found a way to manage my digestive problems, since these things aren't really "cured".

| I'm guilty of taking lots everyday: Most are from Andrew Lessman's "Your Vitamins" Line featured on HSN. Sometime during the day: Maximum Complete (Multi-Vitamin) Joint Effort (Glucosomine and Chondrotin for my joints) Brain, Liver and Memory Support Fibermucil Healthy Hair Skin and Nails (Love this!) Circulation and Vein Support Calcium Complete Ultimate Antioxidants Also take: Atkins Essential Oils CLA The CLA seems to be working on reducing the belly fat :jump: I definitely feel better when I'm taking vitamins; mostly I take them since I don't eat enough veggies, and calcium, because osteoperosis runs in my family. The Healthy Hair, Skin and Nails (mainly a biotin supplement) really helped the excema and dry skin problem that I was having.

| What is CLA?? I take the Nutrilite (from Amway) Double X, Calcium/Magnesium (Amway), Essential Oils (Atkins), and my allergy medications and my diuretic and GERD medication. I take the viamins in the morning and the allegra, then in the evening I take only the prescriptions. Works for me! so I take Double X-3 tablets, CAl/Mag-2 tablets, Essential Oils--2 gelcaps, Allegra--2, Diuretic-1, and GERD-1--at total of 11 in all in two sittings if you please. I feel a LOT better when I do take the supplements and you don't really notice it until you miss taking it a day or two and boy do you notice how much different you feel.
