| A couple years back when I was working out a trying to eat really healthy I had started buying Proteins+ shake mixes. It's whey protein powder and there's no sugar in it. I'm looking at an old container of it that I have and it only has 1.8 grams of carbs per serving (1 serving = 2 scoops mixed with water.) This protein shake was kind of expensive but tasted really good. Are these ok to have as snacks on the WOE? From the lable and the ingredients it looks like it's fine. Is anybody familiar with this product? |

| I am not familiar with that brand, but I know a few people here have protein shakes. IMO just count the carbs and it should be fine.

| Sounds like a perfectly acceptable product to me, too. Whey protein products are also used in many lc baking recipes, so it's a double use ingredient.

| I drink protein shakes all the time--I add the powder to Chocolate carb countdown milk. Makes it really thick--I f I don't get it mixed perfectly it gets lumpy though.

| Well this is good news! Sometimes I'm in a rush and I just don't have time to cook myself some chicken or steak for lunch, now when I'm in a jam I'll just have a protein shake and a salad! Thanks! |
