Default Question about Carb Options Salad Dressing Carb Counts

The dh and i picked up the Olive Oil brand and really enjoy it. I know it says it has 0 carbs...however, it is sweetned with Sucralose, and when I use one packet of Sucralose, I always count it as one carb...so if I were using 2 Tbsp of this dressing (which is a servin), how many carbs should I count that as? Even though it says 0 carbs, I know better than that since Sucralose does have a little less than 1 carb per packet...any suggestions on what the carb count of this might be for a serving?

Thanks!

Sheyla

Manufactured products have access to sucralose with no filler. The filler (I think dextrose?) what give splenda its carbs. Since manufacturers make their products in huge batches they use the straight unadulterated sucralose.

this is about the only carb options product I don't like...surprisingly.. cause I love them all so far, but this one DOES have a sweet taste, and I can't stand a sweet taste in dressings, or spaghetti sauces. I'm wondering what else I can use it for.. wonder if it would work as a marinade??

If you don't like sweetness on your salads the steer clear of the French Dressing.

On the carb count. Do the math with the calorie content. Fat=9 cal., Protien=4, and Carb-Fiber=4. Thus if the carb count is 9 calories per serving then it is safe to conclued that there are no carbs. This is a great method to determined the "hidden" carbs not listed on the label.

At least that is how I do it.
