Talking Bud Light - Real American Hero

My boss is in town this week so I have to hurry...

This morning I heard one of those Bud Light "Real American Hero" commercials on the radio. The title was "Over the Top Carb Counter". Though it slightly made fun of LCing it was very funny.

The last line goes something like "So here's to you Mr. Over the Top Carb Counter...You know that the only thing better than meat and potatoes is meat and meat..."

PS - I also saw on the sign at Wendy's this morning "New Meals for Carb Counters"

Wendy's is testing its low carb menu in a few selected states....mine not being one of them.

Another thing to add.....Mike's Express Car Wash, which is the car wash place to go to in Indiana, has a sign that say "Low Carb Carwashes "......It got my attention!!!

My favorite of those ads was on TV ONCE during last NFL season - Mr. Foot Long Hot Dog Inventer - it was HILARIOUS, DH and I were rolling on the floor! Never saw it again. Too bad!

There's a website someplace, of course I didn't bookmark it, that has all the words to ALL those ads! Including Mr. FLHDI - if I find it again I'll post it!

I'm gonna post this here, if it's a NO NO please delete it, Mods!

This just cracks me up....

mr. foot long hot dog inventor

bud light presents real american heroes
(real american heroes)
today we salute you, mr. foot long hot dog inventor
(mr. foot long hot dog inventor)
when conventional wisdom said no one could make a hot dog longer than six inches, you dared to dream
(dared to dream)
you knew the limitations of a regular sized hot dog bun, and you ignored them
(can't stop me now)
you made a ten inch weiner, and people cheered
(oh!)
but you weren't satisfied. you said, "wait, i think i can still give you two more inches."
(gotta want it)
and so the foot long was born. so crack open an ice cold bud light mr. hot dog hero, because you gave every one of us our fondest wish: a bigger weiner.
(thank you thank you thank you!)

Here's a link to some of the lyrics of those Bud Light commercials.

Still looking for the low carb one. Heard it for the first time last week when John and I were listening to the radio while cleaning out the garage....cracked us up!!!
