Default Entennman's Lo Carb Bakery Items

Has anyone tried these??? I bought the Entennmans crumb cake on Sunday and thought that the topping tasted very bitter, but the cake part was good. Also, I bought blueberry muffins this morning and had to share them with a non LCing coworker because they were so good. But they did do our stomachs in with all the sugar alcohols in them.

Most of them are 9 carbs a serving. I found cookies, brownies, pound cake, coffee cake, and the blueberry muffins. I can't find the website...maybe I am misspelling..

If anyone else has tried any of these, please let me know. And if you haven't, I recommend them

Yes, i have tried the brownies and the blueberry muffins, i try to have the muffins twice weekly, i heat it in the micro and spread a lil cream cheese in the middle and they are totally awesome. the brownies were good also, but im afraid of myself with them i chose not to buy any more, but the blueberry muffins will definetly fit into my lifestyle.

I love love love these items however I did go a little overboard for a couple of weeks with them and I now forbid myself from buying them. I've tried the chocolate chip cookies, the chocolate chip cake and the fudge brownies. I think that they are all delicious but I could eat the entire box of cookies in one sitting and since 3 cookies has 9 net carbs it could get dangerous for me. If it's in the house it's such a temptation. But if you have good willpower then I totally recommend them :-)

Well, then I guess that rules me out. The wife has all sorts of real cookies and breads that I won't touch. But, I remember when I bought the low carb ice cream, poof it was gone. I have no will power to "legal" treats.

I am eating the chocolate chip cookies as we speak. They are pretty good, but I don't think I want a whole box sitting around all the time.

There is no Entennman's website that I can find. I would really like to know the ingredients in this stuff, but haven't as yet remembered to read the label in the grocery store. All I know is, if they contain sugar alcohols or trans fats, beware. If they have wheat flour, even if it is unbleached, watch out.

And, is that 9 gram carb count after, or before you subtract the sugar alcohols? Many people find they can't subtract those grams at all, or at most, half of them. That jumps the carb counts way up, I'm afraid.

All I'm saying here is, be SURE you know what you're getting. And, please, try not to wax poetic over cookies and ice cream. These things should be an occasional treat, not a staple.

Just my .02

If you are looking for the Entemanns website it is located here http://www.gwbakeries.com/ although there isn't much info there.

Yeah, I checked that site out; I guess Entenmann's doesn't have a website of it's own. Does anybody have a package of the low carb treats, so they can post the ingredients?

I so totally agree with that.
I had the butter loaf, cut it up into small slices and froze it. I did really good for a while, but now seem to be grabbing it more and more. Freezing it didn't hurt it at all, and it still tastes good frozen. (Cravings don't allow for defrost!)
Got about 4 slices left, along with some LC PB cookies that my brother sent for my birthday 2 months ago. Again, had a couple the first month, right now I can't seem to stay away.- so both are going to the bottom of an outgoing trash bag this morning. If I can't resolved to stay away, then I will have to put them out of reach.
Been a bad month for giving in.
