| Candy Corn People who are sensitive to sugar alcohols should b aware that these cookies have maltitol or lactitol in the ingredients list. So someone like me who counts sugar alcohols as 1/2 a gram of carb would take the 17 total carbs and subtract the 5 grams of fiber and half of the 10 grams of sugar alcohol. so net fro me would be 7. But others count all teh sugar alcohols so they would need to count it as 12. I'm not saying these are not allowed, just use them knowledgeably, responsibly and rarely. *Black & White Cookie :(sugarfree/lowcarb) Cookie Ing: soy protein isolate, water, resistant starch, vegetable shortening, maltitol, whole eggs, inulin (chicory root), wheat flour, wheat gluten, salt, baking powder, vanilla flavor cellulose gum powder. | I hear you Rob! -with any low carb treat one has to be careful and not go over board. I just wish I'd discovered this one cookie and splurged on it as opposed to the others. |

| If you wanna see more nutritional info about these products, you can see it here. Now, at the risk of getting yelled at, I'm gonna say this: We need to be careful about advocating on this message board "low carb" pseudo junk foods (ie; cookies, brownies, cakes, candies. et cetera) when we need a "fix". There are newbies here as new as two minutes ago who read our posts and they think: "Hey. THAT person eats that stuff and still loses weight", and they think it's hunkey-dorey to eat that junk, they don't lose weight, they become frustrated and disenchanted with the low carb way of life, and ditch it because "it won't work for me." Perhaps they have totally missed the thousands of other posts stating the cautions which Rob stated above. Every person I know personally who low carbs has found that eating things containing sugar alcohols affects their body the same as if it were real sugar. I'm not saying that's true for everyone, so don't maul me for just pointing out a few things. If this message reaches just one person and helps them in their weight loss endeavors, then it's all worth it.
