| I was wondering if there is such a thing as too many eggs. I always have 2 hard boiled eggs for breakfast along with bacon and then usually have a 3 egg omelet for lunch with cheese and mushrooms. I really haven't lost over the last 2 months (maybe a pound or two) and I was thinking maybe it's too many eggs for me. Can they make you stall? Here's a typical menu for me so maybe someone could look at it and see what I'm doing wrong. Thanks a bunch. Breakfast: 2 eggs, 3 strips bacon Lunch : 3 egg omelet with cheese and mushrooms or ham Dinner : some type of meat, 1 veggie, and salad. Snack after dinner: 2 squares Ross' sugarfree chocolate, 1 diet coke, sometimes a pepperoni or square of cheese.

| Tiashanty - I don't think you are eating nearly enough veggies. You're probably not getting enough carbs. Also, if the sugar free chocolate has sugar alcohols in it, you may be metabolizing it just like sugar. That'll stall you, too.

| I don't think it's too many eggs if you are eating them in meals that way, if you were eating 5 at one sitting and still eating 2 more big meals, I might say so, but seems fine to me.

| more veggies, salad types, big one with lunch and dinner. Also, are you getting in your water, I noticed when I don't get in my water, I stall, and it has nothing to do with the food. But you are low on veggies, so you are probably low on carbs. Are you exercising.... if you are you need more carbs to keep you going or you are going to stall cause you body isn't getting enough fuel. I average 2 hard boiled eggs a day, some times I add one to my tuna, sometimes, I have egg salad for lunch and breakfast. I don't think it is the eggs that are the problem....

| I agree that you should be eating a lot more vegetables by this point. A larger salad and maybe 2 of them a day. Add in lots of extras like radishes and sweet green peppers. Bigger portion of high fiber vegetable like broccoli or spinach. I might save the bars for a once a week treat and see how that effects you. A few people experience problems with aspartame. Dr. Atkins said that about 25% of people respond to aspartame with increased insulin. |

| I could see how someone could get totally turned off eggs really quick eating that many every day. Maybe a more varied selection of foods would keep you on track longer, IMHO.

| I eat eggs as much (or possibly even more) as you do, and it did not hurt my weight loss, in fact I think it helped. Eggs are low carb, calorie, and high in protein. There is nothing in them that would stall you.

| i found that eggs are .06 carbs per egg, so i usually count them into my daily carbs as 2 eggs = 1 carb. i would watch out for the LC chocolate diet cokes. |
