Smile what about lc bread and caffiene

Hello everyone,

I just bought a loaf of lc dempsters bread, haven't tried it yet though. Are there hidden carbs in these breads? I am drinking about 4 cups of coffee a day (probalby too much). Should I be counting a carb just for the caffiene. I count a carb each for the cream and slenda. The last two weeks I have not budged from the scale. Do you think it could be caused from my caffiene intake. Any advise on this would be helpful, you have been a great help in the past. By the way people are starting to notice my weight loss and I have been getting tons of compliments. Next week is my yearly physical, am anxious to see what my cholestrial level is. I have been low carbing for 3 1/2 months and I am up to between 35 and 45 carbs.

Hi, Nancy.

There CAN be hidden carbs in many lc products, but I'm not familiar with the particular brand.

As to the coffee, that's a YMMV (your mileage may vary) item. Many of us have done well drinking hefty portions of full-octane coffee. Others have found that cutting down, or moving to de-caff or half-caff brings better results.

A two week period is not really enough to say "stall", so you might just wait it out a bit to see if your loss resumes. If it doesn't, then it's time to "tweak" a little.

HTH!

I don't know about that bread, but any time you introduce a lc product you should do it carefully and avoid overeating it.

As for the coffee, I second what Maggie said.
