The bars taste so much better when you heat them in the microwave for 9 seconds, especially the almond brownie bar and creamy cinnamon bun bar, smores bar too. Just a tip for anyone who uses these.

Just remember to be careful with them, as they can cause stalls.

Thanks for the suggestion. Personally I haven't found too many of the Atkins bars that I liked 'as is'. The Morning Start bars are good, though. I may have to give them a second chance now.

Thanks!

I got a craving for them, and bought the cinimon ones today. I tried the microwave trick and it is great. I can't believe that it is the same bar that I had eaten before.

Microwaving really brings out the moisture, and softens everything. It also makes the icing taste just like a cinimon roll icing.

I called our GNC store & they're hoping to have the newer flavors (Creamy Strawberry Crisp, Choc. Chip Crisp, Double Chocolate Muffin & Blueberry Muffin) in for the Morning Start bars hopefully next week. We like the Apple Crisp one. I'll have to try heating the cinn. one though. That sounds good. I can't wait to try the new flavors!
