Default "Just the cheese" lc baked cheese snacks

I tried the white cheddar today, a friend of mine had a bag that she bought at GNC....in my opinion, they were awful...way way too salty for my taste. Of course, this is my opinion, they were 1 carb per serving, 2 servings per bag. I like to make my own, without the added salt. Just thought I'd share my thoughts in case anyone was thinking of trying these. Of course, everyone's tastes are different, could be that the white cheddar flavor was just salty, the others may not be so bad!!!

We bought a bag to try (hubby and I) and yuck!!!!!!

Altho our low carb store had a "sample" of caramel Pumpkorn that was addicting!

I thought they tasted like cardboard. While this would be fine for a goat, I didn't care much for them.

These type of snacks never really excited me, so I will save my money.

I usually buy the real cheese snacks by Land O Lakes, both the chedder and Jack mix are great.

I like the ones I make at home. They're good, and inexpensive, and not too salty.

I'm so thankful I've never been a big chip/bread/pasta/alcohol person. My main problem with carbs has always been on the sweet side! My best buddy doesn't even like sweets...her problem has been the chip/bread/pasta/alcohol. I see alot of lowcarb stuff here in Dallas and some of it is good, some bad, some expensive, some at a fair price. (This varies widely with the manufacturers.) My favorite salty snack is sunflower seeds, followed by plenty of water!
