Day three for me:
I am hangin on strong! But, let me tell you that the challenges never end. Today I had to go to oreintation for my new job. And for lunch they served turkey sandwiches with the "good rolls" (white Italian style bread), I know that I should be thinking that the "good rolls" should be whole wheat.....but I LOVE white bread. Wel I took a sandwich and then I ate the insides and left the roll. BTW the roll was the largest part of the meal certainly not the meat or the tiny veggies. Then they served these big chocolate chip cookies...good thing I had the slim jim's in my pocketbook Thankfully they had bottle water. I made it through the day with little or no hunger. I had a salad prior to the oreintation so that I wouldn't be tempted by the "goodies" that I knew that they would be serving. I know that I need to restrict myself from the goodies for quite sometime in order to lose the amount of weight that I want (60 pounds). So I threw the roll away and I knew that I made the right choices. All about choices and taking care of one self. I am going to be thin and healthy before I know it.
Until tomorrow friends!
Thanks for reading and listening!

Good for you in avoiding all those tempations!! I, too, work in a carb filled environment. This morning the secretary baked apple danishes and chocolate chip cookies. (She even put glaze on the cookies!!) It is very hard to eat LC when everyone around you is indulging. You can do it!! Hang in there! I can tell from your posts that your mind is set the right way. Now is your time!

Thanks Crystal! DAY FOUR: soon to be fat no more! LOL

Today was a good day not too many temptations really. I made a taco dip and brough chips for everyone and then celery sticks for myself. While everyone endulged I too was able to eat and the celery was so crunchy I didn't miss the chips that I usually eat it with.
Then for dinner ( I work 11:30am-8pm) I had chicken wings and salad. Of course everyone had a slice of boston creme pie afterward (ughhhhh!) and before that someone brought ice cream sandwiches....I kept thinking ...thin....thin....thin.....you can do it. You are melting away....these are the things that I am saying to myself! LOL
