Yep get right back in the saddle! Extra water for sure and keep at it tomorrow, too. Don't be surprised if you have the blahs until your body gets past the sugar. It's so easy to slide into the trap of a 'little cheat' that becomes a new habit. Then before you know it, you're doing the 'sorta low carb' thing and not getting any of the benefits.

Good luck getting back on the horse that throwed ya<G>.

You sound dedicated Gilley! Good for you! The detox sounds fine to me. I wouldn't do it for too long thou. You really weren't all that bad. The cake was a no no! But, maybe just detox for a day or some and then get back into whatever you were doing before.

Good Job! On not eating more! Because the more you get the more you want!

Ginger, you said it! Doing that "sorta low carb thing" doesn't work! I am back in the saddle from my Mother's Day disaster, too. And, I did some hard thinking about why I'm not losing like I think I should. 1.)Not enough water.2.)Too many carbs &/or calories. Just because it's lowcarb doesn't mean you can eat the whole box, right? and 3.)Lack of exercise. So, I will be working on portion control, water consumption, and getting more exercise. Thanx for giving my half effort a name!

You're very welcome, Christina. That's what we're all here for.. share our experiences and remind each other of what we *know* but try to ignore sometimes . I've been there, done that and paid the price.

Take care!

Ginger
