Talking Time to order more Liquid Splenda

I don't know about the rest of you folks, but I never want to run out of my liquid splenda(sweetzfree) again...that is a fate worst than I don't know what!
Sooooo, if anyone is interested, here's the site to order from:

I had great service and think Diane's product is terrific!

I had no problem getting my Sweetzfree either. Although, I'm a little shocked at myself for spending $58 for sweetener. But then my coffee wouldn't be as sweet. Priorities, ya know.

One problem with the Sweetzfree is that it's too concentrated. I got some on my TV remote and had a devil of a time getting it off. My hand tasted sweet for a couple of weeks.

What I've done since then is dilute it 5 parts water to one part Sweetzfree, which is about the same ratio as what used to be in Zero-Carb Syrup.

It's best to use gloves when handling this stuff, because it's so intense it's like hazardous waste when indiluted.

ROFLMAO! Doc, that was priceless - thanks for the belly laugh, SERIOUSLY!!

I haven't tried this particular sweetener yet - have used the Zero Carb stuff that Trish used to sell, and the stuff that Nature's Flavors used to sell - I still have a couple bottles each of those left so I'm not in a panic - YET!!

But I will definitely look this one up sometime soon....

OK now that I've quit laughing -

So does the flip top on this stuff REALLY allow you to dispense ONE DROP at a time, or like the others, is that pretty impossible??

Thanks!

Char,
Yes, the little flip top spigit allows you to depense 1 drop at a time...really.
Just a little clue, it does get some crystalization of sorts on top, so I just take off the lid, wash in hot soapy water, run a toothpick through the hole to keep it open, and it's good as new.

Yup, it's much more precise than the zero carb dispenser. I haven't had to clean my spout out yet, I just wipe it with a damp paper towel every now and then.

Dr. I, you're right. It's potent stuff. Maybe I'll dilute mine as well. I had kind of "learned" the zero carb thing. 'Could even judge a "squirt." With this stuff I keep oversweetening things unless I'm paying close attention.

Still, just glad to have it.

I'm thinking that mixing it with water will introduce "bad bugs" so are you using distilled water in it, or keeping it in the fridge after mixing, or perhaps BOTH?!

My plan would be to used distilled water, Char. I should have mentioned that for anyone who reads this thread.

What I did was draw some CCs out of the Sweetzfree bottle using a hypodermic needle, then injected it down the little hole in my old zero-carb bottle. I did the same with some standard tap water. Sterile water would be better, but I didn't have any, and I'm not doing that much at a time, anyway.

I'd be curious what bacteria could live off of Splenda, anyway, heh. But yeah, microbes can thrive in strange places. Especially Long Beach tap water.

Sorry about my off-color comment edited out above.

OK, I'm gonna order some of this stuff and then dilute it using distilled water.

Doc, I personally thought that was very hilarious, sorry if you got any flak about it though!
