| I posted this on the LC cooking forum, but I thought maybe I would get a quicker answer over here. I tried to make the LC whipped cream tonight. How could I have failed. I bought the whipping cream instead of just the heavy cream. Is there a big difference? Well, It was "whipping up" fine, then I added the Splenda and it went crazy on me. It got all watery and coagulated. So, tell me....how is it done the right way?

| I've never had a problem with it, even when I use the liquid syrups. Did you wait until it was almost done? Was it packets or granular? Whipping cream should whip up just fine. Maybe you did it too much and it started to turn into butter--there would be coagulated parts, and whey. That's what it sounds like. |

| That's exactly what it looked like...butter with water in a bowl. So I might have whipped it too much? I used the Splenda packets.

| I bought a whipped cream maker, and that takes all the fuss out of making whipped cream. I fill the canister halfway with heavy cream, add a bit of granular Splenda, and after closing the top with the nitrous oxide cartridge, I shake and voila! Freshly whipped cream. It's great, because it's always nice to have fresh whipped cream and not have to think about how long it's been in the can.....

| Well, homemade butter is good, too...just not with Splenda. |

| That's funny....I also made some today for the first time.....however, I didn't put in any sugar....just whipped it up.......LOL... It definately was not sweet.....but I put it on my sugar free jello.....and it did the trick....same texture maybe......the only thing I thought of adding was vanilla?? |

| Okay, Okay...I whipped up a new batch today, and it came out fine. I did the last one at night with just the nightlite on in the kitchen, so maybe I didn't catch what was happening. Today was much better. However.......I think I went overboard with that and the berries. I think I stated this on my post about apples and peanut butter; I am pretty sure now I may have to stay away from anything sweet. Even the sugar-free jello is enough to make me want more. It really triggers some massive sugar cravings that, quite frankly, scare me. Does this happen to anyone. Should I just eat Induction things for a little while? I am sure I am bound to live a life of veggies...that is fine with me at this point. Whatever makes me feel like I am back in control.
