Default New body, New attitude, New looks.....

Hi everyone,

I am probably a day or 2( i hope ) from my 50lb loss mark, now ive been contemplating celebrating in a big way. I was thinking of maybe cutting my hair, or getting a tattoo, or maybe even a new piercing(nothing major, maybe a second hole in my ears, too scared to do anything else, lol). Ive already started to wear trendy clothing styles. I just feel the need to do something a lil drastic, maybe its the weight loss coupled with my mid life era here that has me so compelled here.
Hmmmmmm, has anyone else done anything drastic with their loss and what have you done, or if youre thinking of doing something just as i am what are you thinking of doing with yourself. I know i cant be alone with this mentality.

And we're not gonna talk about attitude, now i already thought i was one of the sexiest big girls walking around town(yeah i have a huge ego). but now i think i have a lil too much attitude, but then again thats a good thing, i am my biggest supporter, if i dont love me, who will, right. So yall please confirm that im not the only one with this attitude right now, lol.

Celest, I think it is great to reward yourself in a big way. You have accomplished a big thing here. The reward should be fitting! I personally wouldn't go for the tatoo but a new hairstyle would be cool, or even a new outfit. Whatever you decide just enjoy and congratulations on all your hard work.

I changed my hair at 40 and talk about making everyone notice the new me!!! NO one even recognized me !!! IT was great! I was the talk of the school for days--and now people ask al lthe time how much I have lost and one gal cals me pencil and another skinny mini--all because of a hair cut--and taking a few days off! Well, spring break anyway! LOL

My 50 reward to me is oging to be a trip to a spa for a complete massage, facial and manicure and pedicure! I can't wait--I too am only days form 50--1 lb--LOL

well when i hit the 50 mark.. will also be just under my 200 marker.. so ill be overjoyed... i would like to get my hair cut.. but hubby realy loves that i have been letting it grow... so who knows.. i would love to go buy some new clothes...
lol.. dh and i joke around that if i loose to much in my "chest" i will reward my self at the end of my looseing w/ an induction lol.. but i doubt that will ever happen.. to much $$$$..

I think my biggest reward will just be the fact that i have finaly lost it.. i realy dont need to reward my self beacuse looseing it is the biggest reward i could get..

I have the new haircut! LOL and am eager to reach the 100 marker now... Then I am taking a serious look at the spa idea. Sounds like a good plan. Also, am having to add new clothes periodically just because everything is getting too big; so that is reward all along. It sure is a good feeling!!!

celeste-

i actually didn't do much for 50. for 75, i'm planning a going to the tanning salon, and for 100, a tatto. for goal, i haven't decided yet, but am thinking a night at a nice hotel with hubby, something like that. and of course clothes! lol. (i was dying to get a tiny stud in my nose, but hubby asked me not to. so i didn't. oh well. but i have been dying my hair bright pink, and blue and purple and whatever other color strikes my fancy.)

and yes, i know exactly what you're talking about with the attitude. and every milestone always means a new outfit or two for me, 'cause it really helps keep my spirits up and helps you see the changes to your body when you were clothes that fit well. not to mention other people can see it as well...

we were watching sopranos last night and i informed hubby, "when i get skinny, i'm going to dress just like adriana." (which if you watch the show, you know what _that_ means. slinky and sexy, baby!)

he says, "you've got this all planned out, don't you?"

me: "well yeah!"

he didn't argue, although i imagine he was thinking about how loud the kids would holler about that. LOL.

i feel more attractive than i have in 15 years, and so i act differently. i feel more confident, and so i act differently. and i'm getting to the place where i can put on stuff that i like and it's looking better all the time, instead of focusing on what fits. so i think we're both butterflies just coming out...ain't it great?!?
