Default Another woosh...I am so proud

Hi all,
After a horrible week of stress and anxiety(I just won custody and guardianship of my two young nieces), I woke up on Friday to weigh and found myself down another 2.5lbs. I have now lost 35lbs in alittle over four months.

I feel good and am wearing some clothes that I thought I would never wear again...and have never felt so confident in.

I am 10lbs from my original goal....but I think now that I have seen the changes this WOE/WOL has brought, and how it is something I can stick with I have decided to try to get down a bit further....maybe to 150lbs???

I celebrated both the weight loss and knowing my nieces are out of harms way, but going to chinese to eat. After eating a bit...I found that I wasnt' really enjoying it like I used to. I could taste the sugar in every bite and it really didn't agree with me either. :o(....

Just wanted to share.....

Krisin

You really should be proud of yourself, and not just for the weight loss! Your neices are very fortunate to have you.

And...isn't it amazing? How we lose our 'taste' for foods we once thought we couldn't live without?

that is great! Our newspaper has a magazine type thingy that comes with it... and there was a lot of low carb info on it..( a lot of it negative).. it mentioned 'woosh" and compared it to the tooth fairy... said a mystical being comes during the night and miraculously removes a couple pounds, and its called, 'wooshing'. Don't ya wish sometimes that people would just leave us low carbers alone????
