Default Cracker Barrel

Just wanted to pass on to everyone that I ate at Cracker Barrel for the first time this weekend and I was really impressed with their low carb options. They have 10 or 12 items that they bill as "low carb" and they have obviously done their homework about it all. The server was very knowledgeable about the low carb stuff and best off all, the food was delicious. I ordered the "grilled Roast Beef"--which to me tasted like a slice of pot roast--not sure What was grilled about it. Nevertheless it was delicious!

Just thought I'd pass on the info.

I was there yesterday too. Very impressed with their new menu.

even a breakfast of eggs, bacon, tomato and LC bread. with diet grape jam.

But the dinner 'low-carb' menu was really quite extensive. will definitely make traveling nicer - I always love cracker barrel. And this time bought a toy instead of a treat in the store.

that is great to hear. only time i ever ate there, i didnt care for any of their options... though this was about 3 yrs ago... nothing much aside from your usual caesar salad.

I'll have to give them another try

Ate at one just last week. My waitress was not as educated about low carb, but was by the time I left. LOL. Nice to have some new options!!!!

in my pre LC days, this place was really really the worst place for me to stop.
only place I know of , anywhere, where maple sugar candy is readily available. And I used to buy the big box!!! and eat it all myself!!! Sometimes I would stop at one just to get the candy fix.

Thank god for LC-ing. wouldn't even consider it now.
