hey all,
i was at whole foods yesterday (HF store), and came across a cereal that was on sale. never heard of it ... but i bought some. wanted to know if anyone has tried it, etc.
it's called "hi-lo" cereal.

here's the nutritional info:

on the box they recommend it for diabetics, people on restricted diets, low carb eaters, etc.
i tasted it dry - not bad, tastes a little "fiber-y" ... will maybe try it w/ some soy slender vanilla. needs to be sweetened a bit anyway.
they also make the cereal w/ dehydrated strawberries in in. didn't look too appealing though.

I quite like TJ's Hi-Lo cereal. When I was commuting a long distance, I'd take a little baggie of dry Hi-Lo mixed with a few nuts to eat in the car on the way to work. Otherwise, I'd have skipped breakfast, ended up starving, and gone crazy with the crap in the snack machine at work.
