When you are NOT losing inches....

"Ongoing Weight Loss" at Low Carb Diet Support: "and are losing "pounds" are you losing muscle? I was losing inches more so than weight in the beginning and now I'm still losing some (slow) lbs, but not losing inches (since early April) is ...."

Could it be that you're losing fat in places you don't measure? Like your face, ankles, toes etc.

Just wait--I may go three weeks lose 7 or 8 lbs and not show it on the tape measure--then BOOM--3 inches all at once. . .might be chest, might be hips, belly, calves, you name it. . .I lose in fits snd starts--pounds and inches--ONe day size 16 was tight the next size 14 fits --this week 12 zips, but not for public view yet!!! My shoes are looser--so are my rings--so much so that I went back to my original wedding band--haven't worn it in 9 years maybe 10. My watch band is too big and it was tight before--Gotta love this WOE!

I don't think you have to worry about loosing muscle. Many people loose pounds, then inches or inches then pounds.

Unless you have recently given up a weight training program or something, I don't see any reason for you to be loosing muscle.
