Thumbs up LowCarb Energy magazine

:great: The thread about Keto shakes reminded me of this:the premiere issue of LowCarb Energy magazine is on newsstands now. I liked it, and found it to have lots of interesting articles, including one on how you guys out there can eat lowcarb discretely when you're out with your buddies, so they won't realize you're l/cing and you won't lose any of your machismo! Funny!
There is an ad on the back cover for Keto milk. NOT the powdered mix, but ready-to-drink (reconstituted) liquid "milk". I searched this site, and this new milk wasn't mentioned yet, so I wanted to share. I haven't found/tried it yet, but I want to. I am currently drinking Silk Unsweetened Organic Soymilk and I love it because I am lactose intolerant. The Keto ad says it has the taste of whole milk, only 1 carb per serving, more protein, no lactose (yeah!), no cholesterol, and more calcium. More protein and calcium than what, I don't know, but it looks promising. :cook:
More on the mag: there are articles about vegetarian l/cing, an overview of controlled carb plans, how to find a l/c support group online, recipes, and lots of stuff about fitness. Check it out!

Yuppers! Just got that mag and finished it all in one fell swoop. GREAT stuff....great products. However being from Canada I was a bit jealous of the the very neato low-barb products that are out there in the US. *sigh* It was a great read tho! Hehe.

Cheers!

Krystyne -

Don't feel bad. Just think of it as you don't have anything to buy that's going to mess up your diet!

Yes, many of the products are neat but they can cause problems for many people who get carried away with them and then end up causing as much damage as the real thing.
