IMHO, leaving on a holiday in a few days is not the time to try to restart induction. Plan on eating in moderation on your trip, but enjoy it. Don't go nuts and you won't set yourself back too far. (well, nuts would be fine, but don't go high carb nuts )
But as soon as you get back, clean your system up again with induction - maybe not the full 2 weeks, but enough to get the cravings and toxins out of your system again.

I second what Mary Kay said. Holidays or vacations are not the time to start or re-start Induction.

Enjoy your vacation and when you get back, plan on following Induction levels for at least a week.

Have a great holiday.

I totally agree with MaryKay--don't try to do induction on your vacation. Just take a deep breath, eat as well as you can while you're gone, and when you get back, jump back into induction with both feet and drink tons of water.

It will be fine. Try not to stress over it so much that you don't have fun!!

If you want to have alcohol (alright, who among us doesn't on vacation??) - what you are having is a decent choice. Stay away from the fruity, sweetened drinks. I like vodka - no carbs.
also be aware, having done LC for several weeks, your alcohol tolerance may be lower than before. It may take less to get you into a tipsy state.

I would agree that a vacation in another country may not be the best time to start induction, but you're not leaving till Saturday, and today is only Tuesday. I think if you start eating "clean" right now (veggies, meat, fish, chicken, eggs, cheese, berries, nuts, period) you'll feel much better by the time you leave, and have a better chance of staying the course while you're gone. Most all-inclusive resorts feature a wonderful assirtment of delicious food, and you should be able to dine lavishly on wonderful foods without packing on the pounds.

Since you were successfully following the Atkins plan for six of the past 7 weeks, why not get right back in the swing of things NOW? I hate to think how many pounds I gained and how much time I wasted over the years waiting for something to occur before I started eating right....come Monday, I'll go on a diet (so it's okay to really pig out this weekend)....when school gets out, I'll start....after the holidays, I'll really crack down...as soon as I quit smoking, I'll get this weight off...after my company leaves, I'll get rid of all this junk food....you get the point.

You don't need to return to a strict induction phase to get things rolling again and start feeling better. Catch this train before it gets completely derailed! And have a wonderful vacation....
