| Oh my goodness...if today is not enough to make me depressed I don't know what will. This week has been the worst PMS week for me ever. I have had severe sugar cravings, and today I could not bear it anymore. My daughter wanted cookies, so I baked her some and I could honestly say I might have had at LEAST ten! I am not someone who goes totally out of control, but with this WOE now, I just cannot eat sugar in ANY form (including any fruits)...otherwise I am lost on a binge. I know tomorrow is a new day, but I've been feeling so bloated and fat this whole week, I am even unmotivated to get out and exercise. Downward spiral....scary. I am hoping tomorrow I will wake up with a new attitude.

| Please, don't be so hard on yourself! A bad day happens now and then, just be glad you aren't having a bad YEAR. That happened to me last year. I went on vacation, gained 20 pounds, and then spent the rest of last year gaining 40 more because I was so depressed about the first 20! That, after losing 88 pounds. How stupid could I be? I was positive SICK with myself. I couldn't believe I let myself do that! But, did I give up? NO. I kept having bad month after bad month and then finally, this January, I got my act back in gear and I'm now down 16 pounds and on my way back to where I was. Wanna know THE MOST IMPORTANT FACTOR? Don't let a day or two of being stupid, emotional, stressed, whatever, get you down for the long term. Believe me, I understand how you feel. But, trust me, you'd be feeling A WHOLE LOT WORSE if you let yourself slip into a black whole just because of a few bad days. TRUST ME, IT AIN'T WORTH IT! Hang in there and just restart tomorrow and drink tons of water. Eating a few crappy carbs for a day or two isn't going to kill you

| I had a really bad day on tuesday, but I remembered something that helped me through it: no matter how bad you are feeling now, it is just a mood. Moods only last so long, and will end eventually. Sleep always cures my moods. I have never woken up with the same bad mood I fell asleep with. Other than that, in my pre-low carb days, I used food (part of the reason I needed to loose weight in the first place lol). If you need to, or can, a solid lc meal/snack can help as well. IMO it is probably the change in blood sugar that does the trick. I would bet that some type of meat, chicken or fish would do the trick here. Hope you feel better soon.

| Thanks for the support! I knew I had to get to LCE.com as fast as I could. I am so grateful that there are people to steer me in the right direction. I know I don't post often, but with 2 small children, sometimes all I have time to do is scroll through and read the latest posts with the 17 month old on my lap dying to get to the keyboard. It is frustrating. Thanks! Kids bedtime is calling, be back soon.

| Hi! I, too, know how you feel. For two weekends in a row, (one was a company picnic, the other a visit out-of-town) I ate whenever and whatever I wanted and boy-howdy (a Texas term!) did I regret it! And sometimes I get PMS, too. But not so much anymore, as long as I stay on plan with my eating. No matter what the reason, whenever we get off plan, we suffer from physical AND emotional setbacks. I gain weight, feel bloated, make my stomach unhappy, and feel out of control. So, just get up in the morning and eat a good, healthy breakfast. And when lunchtime rolls around, remember that you ate right at breakfast, so keep on eating right! One meal at a time until you regain control. We have all been where you are now. The key is to not let it go on too long. My best to you!
