Default Sleep and well, everything

Sleep--is that something your body needs???? I certainly hope not--mine has stopped sleeping. . .here it is 1:30 and I have been in bed twice--goth times I got out after about half an hour of not beign able to even relax enough to lay still and not wake DH. I know part of it is not getting up early in the morning--I hate mornings and if the day could strt at say--noon--I would do much better, but I slept til around 9 this morning and can't tonight. . .I know too that swimming at 9:00pm is part of what is keeping me up--the rest is --gosh--who knows! Life maybe???

This post should probably be in my ournal but here it is for allt o read so it really doesn't matter. . .anyway,

I know I am excited and starting to think of things that hvae to happen before I leave Tuesday VERY early in the morning for the airport! That is part of what is keeping me up--but during the school year I also drop ito bed aroudn 10 exhausted and sleep--no matter waht is on my mind so I can't necessarily blame my upcoming trip on insomnia either! Anyway, my mental list--groceries--both for snacks for the trip AND stuff for DH so he doesn't eat out every meal for three weeks! a couple of new things for DD so plane ride isn't so boring and she doesn't make me nuts! A good book for me to read on the plane and in the airport since we do have a couple of layovers--hence the snacks too--even though flight time is just over 3 hours we are in the travel mode like 5 hours and that does not include arrival at the airport and check in 2-3 hours early AND all that entails. . .I hate that! Packing--gotta remember eerything--clothes--special outfit, dress outfit for church, socks underwear--have to buy a new package--they have to fit ya know, DD needs new ones too, jeans and sweats--NE can be chilly in the evening and hotter than hades int he afternoon--plan on both! Shorts and tees, sweatshirt or two, tennis shoes, sandals, dress shoes (I need a pair), swimming suits and cover ups and towels and goggles and EEEEKKKK!!! OVERLOAD!!! Anyway, back to the groceries--I have to get things DH can grab quick--extra eggs, bagged lettuce--think he would ever consider chopping his own??? THink again, remind him about hte bills he HAS to pay, like the phone and the electricity. . .rent, better start a list--but where to put it??? Stop the mail for 30 June, why am I thinking of this stuff at 1:30 at night???? Cameras, DD's camera cord for downloading her pics is missing. . .hmmmmmmm? find aand pack. . .pack her old one too--plus the film . . . but what are we actually going to do that she needs it? Who knows??? Softball gloves for both DD and myself--that is something my sister plays and I know DD will love it and I can lay catch with Laci--might be good for me--oh yeah--better take a carb counter with me and my daily log since internet may not always be available--ge may break my addiction to mornign weigh in AND this site all in one fatal swoop! LOL

My shoulders hurt--and I am starving again--what is up with that crap--all week I hve been waking up starving at like 2 or 3am--I am NOT eating in the middle of the night--water is what I give the belly, but it still keeps asking for "real" food! Am I not eating enough? Today for instance--I had 100gs fo fat and 103 gs of protein, also had like 30 gs of carbs--net not total so I should be fine though I did work out harder today than most--not an exceeding amount and I had like 1300 calories and yeah it should have been more like 1500 but 200 cals isn't going to make all the difference in the owrld--is It>????? go figure! writing out a list of things for DD to set aside to put in her suitcase and trying not to miss anything important--and still leave room for my clothes and all without taking two giant of a suitcase! or taking two giant suitcases! HEHEHE--I never manage to pack truly light! WEll, outta here--though my thoughts are far from done!

Okay, here's the plan....we'll all come to your house, tranquilize you, do all that packing, shopping, etc. for you.....forget the book, you won't need it. You will be alseep during the flight and be wheeled around to each plane after layovers. As the plane lands, you will awaken refreshed and totally ready for your visit. How's that sound?

I wish it could be like that! I made myself crazy packing for my trip to the beach a couple of years ago. I stayed up 'til almost 3:00 in the morning (we were leaving at 7!) packing, doing last minute laundry, thinking of what I might be forgetting, cleaning house, etc. Then, I was close to comatose for the drive down! Trips are alot of fun...AND alot of work. Have fun! And try to rest between now and then!

My son is taking the ACT test tomorrow. It's almost 1 and we have to be there at 7 in the morning. But I don't have insomnia--I WANT to go to sleep! He waited until the last minute to fill out his paperwork...

So I'm up too. :(

Is it a full moon out tonight, or what?! LOL.
dh and I actually just got home. It is 12:30 here in CA. we celebrated our 19th wedding anniversary today :-)
we went to the aquarium of the pacific in Long Beach, since dd had nothing to do today, she also went.it was nice. totally blew my eating for the day tho. there is a Bubba Gump Shrimp restaurant next to the aquarium, and I didnt even try to eat on plan. I will start fresh tomorrow. *sigh* actually, I really feel like I should feel guilty, and perhaps I will tomorrow, but I DON'T. I think it is because i am not looking at today as a "cheat", but as a "choice" that I made. I didn't 'lose contol', I decided to eat hc, knowing that it would set me back.

well, fellow night owls, I am going to try to go to bed now! have a great trip, husker!

It's too much rest and knowing u dont really have to get up early in the morning. I do it myself all the time. If i know im gonna be off the next day, i cant sleep and my mind wonders about everything, but if i know i have to work early the next morning i go to bed and im able to sleep.

Hey--I am at 55lbs too! Yeah, part of it is that I have time to let it wander and all school year it doesn't get to wander so it really takes off when given the opportunity! LOL That and I worked out late last night so. . .the adrenaline was still pumping through my body pretty good and I wasn't ready to sleep either! I may take tonight off and maybe tomorrow too--I am really sore--might hit the treadmill for some interval running--walk 3 or 4 minutes run 1-2 for a couple of miles. . .would not work the shoulders and arms but would get the heart rate going and that is what I need--anyway, I won't do that at 9:00pm if I do!
