Default Losing--and losing inches

I may soon be in for big whoosh! Or maybe a gain--not sure how to take my findings wit the tape measure today! My neck, shoulders, arms, chest, bust, waist, hips and thighs have all shrunk--my weight has stayed the same all week--except one day which I counted then decided it wasn't mine to count yet! I lost a total of 3.5 inches this week alone--I know it is from swimming--if youa re looking to work those love handles--try the side stroke about 6 lengths is about all you can stand AND boy are you sore--even after swimming for weeks in a row! I noticed in my shirts this week and then not on the scale so I blamed it on stretching them out! My new pants are loose but he new ones--for 4th don't quite fit yet! I love shrinking even when the scale doesn't! I am now at 41.25 for the whole journey--almost four feet fo fat!!!!! well, OK 3 1/2 feet of fat so far!!!!! That is a LOT of size folks! No wonder my 22s look totally ridiculous on me and fall off--the 20's and the 18's too! Even my 16's are very loose and baggy--I am not quite ready to ship them out yet--have to ahve somethign to wear besides underwear which I am replacing most of today! My new capris and shorts are low rise and well, they look funny with underwear sticking out hte top!!! LOL I am actually looking forward to a family get together when I get home! I want everyone tos ee me!!! I know they will be shocked--I am still shocked--my aunt is amazed--sent her the pictures that are on this site over IM this morning and my brother who hasn't seen me since last July was fumbling for words--he barely remembers me anything but BIG! My sister in Washington (state) still can't believe I was ever that big! I knwo I was so does she, but her vision of me is like when we were in high school and college and I was small! I mean, we shared clothes til we went our separate ways when we got married! She still wears a 6--well, I may again one of these days, but for now am happy with my 14!

Congratulations!!!! Isn't it wonderful! The scale IS a cheat and a liar!
I've been experiencing something similar for six weeks, the scale bounces around in the same 4 pounds, but I'm shrinking. It's my friend at Army Basic Training, I have to send pushups and situps to him, and that has really been changing my shape! Yay Army! Wouldn't want him to fail his physical test, now, would I? And pushups are fun, makes me feel like a bad mamma-jamma when I'm doing it. Heehee.

Hi,
You go girl. 14's are a nice size after being a size 18 and 20 for so long. I am right at a size 14 myself and am at about 178 too. I bought a skirt that was a 14 that was a bit baggie at the waist so I went and got a 12 and it is obviously a bit smaller at the waist...but it fits and looks good so I took the 14 back and am wearing the size 12 skirt today at work.

I never thought I would be wearing a size 12.

You go girl and congratulations on your loss. It is a wonderful feeling isn't it???

:o)
