Default Warning...Low carb cookies....

Omg, i thought i had so much will power and could turn away almost any type of food since ive started this woe. well my will power was tested a couple of days ago and i didnt do very well. I finally broke down and bought a box of those darn keebler choc. choc. chip cookies, what did i do that for. I ate one and it was the best cookie ive had since december. So i decided i would have one more and then quit. Next thing i know i had downed four of those dang cookies. I finally got myself together and put the rest in the cabinet. The next day went by and nothing, then yesterday comes around they were calling my name again, omg noooooo. This time i made my daughter, my son and my neice help me finish them off so i could get rid of them. i had 2 more and now their all gone, thank goodness. I wont buy them again thinking i had all this will power, lol. I should have known better, because cookies were my worst weakness before low carbing.

Now did they cause any damage, not to my weight, but my pride knowing that i just couldnt stop at one or two was completely bruised. for me being in control is a big deal. This woe of eating is as much mental for me as it is physical. In a way im glad i know one of my weakness and you better believe i will be working on this. Oh and i wouldnt advise anyone to eat that many lc cookies, you will be flying to the bathroom like crazy, lol. It tore my stomach up, and that is reason no 2 to not buy.

But really Celest...YOU are such an inspiration each and every day. I can vouch for that. We are human, and God knows we all make those mistakes. (I certainly make enough!!!) Keep on going girl! You are doing great!!!

I tried them, too. They were good. They do send you to the potty. I won't buy them again. "Nuff said! We all have mess ups. I had 3 peices of fried chicken today, coating and all. I was fine the rest of the day, so I'm not going to let it get me down. Let's all of us just do better tomorrow, okay? We can do it!

It was those CarbWell Cookies that got to me...ate almost the whole package, and the next day, I was literally sick from it. I felt like I was going to vomit...there's no worse feeling than that and then not being able to vomit. After that little ordeal, I decided 'no more!' And I haven't had any since that little experience...blah...that's how it makes me feel when I even think about eating those...

Good luck to you if you think those things are really "low carb."

I am a sweet junkie to the T....
While doing this woe and a crave decides to posess me...and i am watching tv...everything seems to be about sugar foods...for instance
I was watching rug rats with the girls and angellica was having a cookie attack...she ate so many she got sick and made the babies hide her cookies
even cartoon cookies look good when the crave fairy is among me....
then you get the damn betty crocker cup cake with gooey frosting commercial...ARGH...

You know what, youre right Doc, i know they're not good for me, but everysooften i do indulge in something thats not good for me, somehow this is what keeps me on track. This is the first time that i couldnt stop at one though. I'd have done better to just have my usual full sugar treat that i have once a month, at least i never go over board with that. Oh well i wont be having the cookies anymore anyway, they are in the off limits file.

Well, if you want to have cookies, I'm sure there are some recipes for REAL low-carb cookies around. However, don't expect them to taste as good. Without the sugar-rush, these things inevitably taste wrong. But tastes can change over time.

I don't get into junk food,, even the low carb kind. I want my carbs to be in something satisfying and filling, like meat, or salad, or some other extra that is good for me.
