Default Which Protein Power book?

Not sure where to post this.... (please move if it's in the wrong forum)...

Am wanting to read Protein Power just to add to my arsenal of information. Which book should I get? Protein Power or Protein Power Lifeplan?

TIA!

Mada, I have the Protein Power book, it's a great book, great explanation of how low carb works. It's very well written.

Mada, I think you'd do well with either PP or PPLP. PP if I remember correctly may give a little more of the scientific basis of why the plan works. PPLP is very similar as far as the basic plan, but does vary some based on more current experience and scientific understanding, updates supplement recommendations and spends more time on lifestyle issues in addition to diet. In other words, much like the Atkins books where each addition or version updates the material. Personally, I prefer PPLP though.

Thanks gals!

I had ordered Protein Power with my pre-order of Gary Taubes' new book but then second guessed myself. I'm going to keep PP and then if I want I'll get PPLP and check that out afterwards.

Thanks again!

You won't go wrong with either, Mada. I started off with Zone, but my approach since last year has been much more PP-like. I was able to lose the few pounds I'd carelessly regained since my original loss in 1998, and maintenance has been easier, too. Not that maintenance is ever easy, but you know what I mean
