| As promised I'm going to attempt to review a product. This is new to me, so hang in there. I purchased this product from my local HFS for about $3.79, for a 12 ounce bottle. It's marketed by a company called Seelect Herb Tea Company. I checked Netrition and unfortunately they don't sell it. The nutrition facts are as follows: Serving Size 1 tbsp. Calories 0 sat fat 0g Cholesterol G Sodium 200mg Total Carbohydrate 0g Dietary Fiber 0g Sugars 0g Protein 0g Ingredients: Water, Soy Sauce, Salt, Natural Flavors, Natural Spices, Xanthan Gum Sesame Seeds, Sorbitol and Caramel Color. The product is brown in color with sesame seeds suspended in the sauce. It tastes a bit on the salty side, but a lot of Asian sauces do until they are spread throughout a dish. You can also detect a hint of the sesame seed flavor, which is nice, along with other Asian spices, especially a hint of ginger. The xanthan gum gives the sauce it's body and thickness. I used 1/2 cup in my chicken stir-fry, adding during the last 3-4 minutes of cooking time. I reduced the heat as not to cause the dish to scorch. The bottle says you can use it on the side as a dipping sauce. I will not. I will use it in cooking, not sure if I would purchase it again. It's worth a try if you're crazy about teriyaki sauce and miss it because of the high carb count. Don't expect it to be like the authentic product. |

| An excellent review, Sus. Thank you! Hey, I had a thought...what about if we rate the thread with what you'd rate the product, maybe? Anyone who has tried a product could add their own rating, perhaps? |

| Goddess, Yeah! like a wikipedia type deal! I admit I haven't tried this particular product. When I get a craving for this type flavoring, I tend to go with some LC friendly soy sauce, a few drops of LC sweetener subsitute, a splash of sesame oil, a few drops of chille oil and a grating of fresh (or frozen) ginger root, and a splash of some LC wine. Marinates nicely (Don't go much longer than overnight with fish) and makes a great brushing sauce.

| Dixie, that's fine with me. I'll go in there and rate it. I'm with Maggie, something you could stir up in your own kitchen would be just as good or better. Yep, sure would. |
