Default Gross Buns

I tried the "Dixie Carb Counters" bun and roll mix. Yuk. I was so looking forward to my first taste of bread in three weeks. The texture is a lot more like all the eggs in the recipe baked rather than actual bread. I tried REALLY hard to like it by slathering it with butter, toasting it, re-toasting it (it never gets crispy). Before I threw them away I tried to give them to the dog. Even SHE wouldn't eat them, and she eats anything! I still have one packet of the mix left. I'm thinking about sprinkling it over my garden to keep the rabbits away.

Havin' some fun now...

Have you tried the One Minute Muffin? It's not like real bread, but it's a good alternative. You'll find it here:

No, I haven't tried it yet. I need to get some more of the ingredients. What is "SF syrup?" I've noticed those initials elsewhere and I'm sure it's something simple, but my peabrain can't figure it out.

SF (generally) means "sugar free" and when used in the context of "syrup" usually refers to products like DaVinci syrups, which are made with splenda and are quite delicious.
