Default Cultured Dairy Snack???

Well I read all those posts about yogurt, so I was thinking maybe I should try some. But the only thing I could find in the store was "Dannon Light and Fit" with 3 grams carbs and 0 added sugar. Sounded good to me, but when I got it home, I saw that it was a "cultured dairy snack" rather than yogurt. Does anyone know if that has the same beneficial "gut" stuff as yogurt?

Jody,
Look on the label and see what "cultures" have been added. If it's "cultured", then it has some type of probiotics in it.
I've used the Dannon light and fit in the past. Now I use Dannon full fat Plain yogurt.
When I get it home, I add liquid splenda to it and a dash of vanilla extract, stir it up really good and it's good to go. A half cup serving is 6 carbs; obviously not an induction food item, but if you are in OWL, you can work it in, perhaps just not on a daily basis, but maybe every other day.

addendum: I just checked the Dannon website, and for the Light& Fit, it lists "active yogurt cultures....including, Lacidophilus".
