| I looked at Nature's Own, and after reading the ingredients, I immediately put it back on the shelf. It contains the evil maltitol! I looked at the Mrs. Baird's brand, which I believe is a regional brand, and found it to be acceptable. It has 10 net carbs per slice, so if a person were to make a sandwich with one slice, it wouldn't be too out of line for owl or maintenance. I personally shouldn't have that many carbs in one slice of bread, but I feel better about having it for my family who do eat bread, because they just don't need the sugar. The moral of this is, READ THE LABEL! You never know when they are going to sneak in that evil maltitol!
