| I bought the Egg Genie, an egg cooker that will cook up to 7 eggs at a time. You put water in the bottom, pierce the eggs with the little piercing pin, put on the cover, and plug it in. How they cook depends on how much water you use. More water means more cooking, and harder yolks. I just tried it out, cooked 6 eggs medium, and they were perfect. This will be an easy way to cook eggs for breakfast. It also came with the Bacon Wave. I'm not sure about this particular gizmo, though. It will cook up to 14 slices in the microwave oven, but it looks like it's gonna be hard getting the slices into it. I'll try it another time and let y'all know. I got the Egg Genie because I usually put eggs on to boil and then forget them, and they end up way over cooked. This gadget buzzes when the water is all gone, and you have to go unplug it, it does not shut itself off. So now I will have nicely cooked eggs w/o the green ring the yolks get from over cooking. Just a nice, pretty yellow yolk, just the way it should be.

| The Egg Genie is great. It will make hard boiled eggs exactly as described. I bought this unit to replace Toastess "Easy eggs" cooker. That little unit serviced me for over twenty years. Bye 4 Now Last edited by Goddess; 11-08-2009 at 09:19 AM. Reason: adding link |
