Default New bread things at Walmart

I found a couple of products I want to share with you at, of all places, Walmart.

Flatout Flatbread, Light Original: 16 grams carbs, 9 grams fiber, so only 7 net carbs. They also make an Italian version.

Mission Carb Balance Whole Wheat Burrito Size Tortillas have 31 grams carbs and 21 grams fiber for 10 grams net carbs. These are the larger ones, so you could wrap a half one if you can't afford the carbs.

I'm so happy Walmart is getting a little low carb so I hope you all try them so they will keep them in stock (no, I don't work for Walmart. I just want my Netrition bill to be a bit less).

Mission "carb balance" tortillas are a staple item in my house. I don't know how I would get by without them. I buy the smaller versions and use them for wrap sandwiches, pizza crust, and tostado and taco shells. They are life savers! They are always available.......... but maybe that comes from living in Texas. Tortillas sell as well as bread here.

I think the Flatouts are MAHvelous!!!! I have some flatouts coupons from my local Curves. You bet I'll be using those babies! And as for Mission's LC tortillas? I have 2 packages in the frig as I write this. They are also a staple in this house. Another staple????? Healthy Life bread.

Of course, I do limit myself to one of the above per day. Even tho it's LC, there's got to be limits on those too.

Last weekend I was at Walmart again and back by the deli I found Joseph's Middle Eastern Lavash! I was so excited because I use it a lot. That's one more thing I can take off my Netrition order. Walmart seems to be getting low-carb friendly...who woulda thought?

Love the Lavash Bread!!! Cut it into small squares and bake for about 6 minutes for crackers...you can season however you want....I just leave them plain so I can taste whatever I'm dipping them in. Very bland if they are plain but nice crunch!

We also use them just cut in half to make wraps....good stuff!

I've also been using Arnold Select Sandwich Thins - Whole Grain White which are thin little bun like breads. The package I have handy right now is 17 net carbs (so NOT induction friendly), but they're GREAT for a bun substitute, 2 open face quicky pizzas piled HIGH with veggies, pepperoni, ham, mushrooms and cheese cooked in a toaster oven. I think they have other flavors, but this one is just what I had on hand. I think I'm out of them, so I need to buy more. Last night I made a veggie/chicken stoup (Rachel Ray's version of stew/soup) with a bunch of my homegrown veggies, which was extremely low in carbs plus 2 open faced cheesy garlic breads using these rounds. It was heavenly.

I think they sell them at Walmart if I remember correctly. (I don't use these very often.)

I like Joseph's Lavash. I made a low carb stromboli out of it recently which was tasty! But its so filling that I could not eat but a little less than half.

Also, I love Joseph's Low Carb Pita bread! I liked to use mozarella cheese to stuff inside it, then made pizza on top for a "stuffed cheese pizza crust".
