As you may know, we work hard at LCE to bring solid, useful information, support and community to anyone following a low carb lifestyle. I believe very strongly that our mission is important, and am committed to keeping the support LCE provides freely available to anyone who is interested in taking advantage of it.

Running the site, however, is not free of expense. The ads usually cover the majority of our operating expenses, but our advertising income varies significantly depending on a number of factors (including time of year, general state of the economy, and number of people visiting the site). So I try to supplement our advertising revenue with other income whenever possible.

Even though I have an Amazon book store on one of my websites, I cannot use that to make a purchase there and receive a commission. You cannot make money from yourself. So I always will come from the Amazon links here to make a purchase there. Correct me if I am wrong, but that means anything I buy there....right? So hopefully everyone here will do that!
