For anyone who's here because they got the LCE newsletter and don't want it, please just let me know!! We don't want to send email to anyone who doesn't want it!

To STOP getting the LCE newsletter, click the "unsubscribe" link at the top (or bottom) of the newsletter , OR reply to the newsletter to tell me, OR email me directly at goddess [at] lowcarbeating.com OR use the site contact form to tell me, and I will personally see to it that you do NOT get future newsletters!

You have my word.

I sent the first edition of the newsletter to folks who are site members and who have opted to get administrator email. I know some of you haven't been around in a while, and therefore may not remember signing up to LCE or that your options are set to receive email from us. That's why I sent out a couple of emails letting you know it what coming. I also know people routinely come back here from after a break - sometimes a long one - and some of you told me you were happy to hear from us again. Those are the folks we want to reach!

What I ask you NOT do, however, is simply hit the "spam" button in your inbox to report the email as spam. This does more than just block the email. It impacts our ability to reach people who do want the newsletter and could create problems if it were to continue. (This is true for all LCE email, but is particularly important with the newsletter, since the service I use to send the mailing could cancel my account over it.)

At this point, changing your LCE member mailing options will not impact whether or not you get the newsletter. New members will have to sign up specifically for the newsletter, so I hope that will minimize the spam reports. But for now, just know that I TOTALLY respect your wishes on whether or not to get our mailings, and will do my best to comply. You just have to tell me!

This causes problems for us in sending out the newsletter and to be honest, it's offensive to be called a spammer when we've worked so hard for so many years to keep LCE spam-free.

If you don't want it, we don't want to send it. Just tell us, okay?
