Thank you all who responded to the paid membership survey. I appreciate your patience with our efforts to make sure LCE has the support it needs to stay available to everyone seeking support with their LCE plan.

Based on the responses we got, we're offering Supporter Memberships in thanks to those who make a donation to LCE. Supporters will enjoy an ad-free experience, get a "LC Friendly" badge by their name, and have access to the Supporters' Rec Room, a private, supporters-only forum.

Many of you specifically mentioned an interest in helping out but current financial concerns, so we kept the donation levels modest to allow more to participate.

$50 - 10 Years
$25 - 3 Years
$10 - 1 Year
$5 - 6 months

These are NOT recurring subscriptions so they will not auto-renew, although we hope you get enough value from LCE that you may decide to continue to support our work by renewing when the time expires.

sandi- the amazon search box on the forum home page you will still see. i wanted to leave that available in case people did want to buy their amazon stuff through here to help support the site because it certainly does.

a couple of people have mentioned to me they like the amazon LC book listing at the bottom of the forum specifically- if that's the general feedback, i can leave that one on. it's more dependent on what folks want than anything else...from the survey i did, ad-free was the number one thing people expected to be included for any supporter options, so i figured people in general weren't into it. (and you'll also always see all the ads if you ever log out.)
