 Re: Posting #'s I never did get an answer on this and just wondered if anyone had a clue what is happening. I'm still stuck at 861 posts and I've noticed that everyone else isn't moving too. Anyone know the reason why?

| Re: Posting #'s That's really odd, Donna. I don't see anything wrong with your member page in the control panel. It shows your most recent time of posting, yet it's clear that your number hasn't changed in ages. I've never looked at my own, so I don't know if mine have changed or not. I'll have to leave this one to the webmaster.

| Re: Posting #'s Ya know what, Donna. I just realized that your numbers have probably been right all along. For instance, when you posted on 12/22, you said your posts were stuck at 861. However, when I viewed your 12/22 post it said it was number 862. Since your 9/1 post ALSO said 862, I thought, Wow, I know she's had numerous posts since September. What I didn't realize (since I've never paid much attention to anyone's - including my own - number of posts) is that your number of posts is like part of your identity. Once it moves up, all prior posts will have the new total count. If you notice, your current post count (on both the 9/1 and 12/22 posts above) is 867 as I write this. That is correct, at this point. Since posting your 12/22 message here, you've posted 5 other times, so ALL your messages will say you've made 867 posts. If you go back and pull out a post you made a year ago, it will still say 867.
