Love the Lurker Fairy, so here I am checking in. Would be nice to have a General Low Carb discussion forum. Interesting things could be posted that all of the members would benefit from reading and other general low carb topics could be discussed such as new research and findings. Just my 2 cents worth. Otherwise love what you have done with the site.

so you're thinking something like just a lc overview type forum? something not aimed specifically a noobs or ongoing lc'ers, but just anything lc related?

basically, i'm open to putting up whatever discussion areas folks want as long as long as you'll use 'em.

That is exactly what I am thinking. Maybe a poll would be in order to see if anybody else would be interested in something of that nature. This is the first forum I joined when I began my LC journey and got so much support and advice from the people here but lately there just doesn't seem to be so much going on. Maybe I'm just not seeing the action.

if it's not well used, we can always merge it.

regarding the quietness, a lot of that is related both to yearly cycles and, moreso, to how much work i do on a consistent basis to attract new traffic. it gets quieter when i have less time to devote to it (as it has been of late).

at any rate, i'm always happy to get member ideas and give them a go when i can. so lets see how this works. and thanks for sharing your thoughts!
