Is there a way to export a journal to a word doc or something? I'd like to save my old journal, but it's time to begin anew. I'd rather not copy and paste if I don't have to. Any insight would be most appreciated!!

If you choose to go the copy/paste route, try going into thread tools and have it show the thread in printable version. Then you can copy & past about 50 posts per page. Just one way to skin this cat. Good luck.

Hi.. just wondering... can any one tell me how to change my user name... for some reason, i think my name is causing me to be snubbed to some degree. I have not had the warmest welcome, as some do . Lacypie, is my cat's name, but ... for some reason, I think others have there own idea of what it means.

Lacy - Just let Me or Maggie know if you'd like a different username, and we can change it without problem for you. But I didn't have any concerns about your username, and I don't know that anyone else did, either...people tend to interact more as they get to know one another.

If you'd like to get settled in more quickly, though, I'd suggest you consider starting a journal. They are the busiest part of the community and many folks make friends in the journals. PS Heather- I did look into addons to export your whole journal and didn't find anything that would work with our current setup. Forgot to follow up with you. Sorry. :(
