Nahh, couldn't change it, no biggie to me, just don't think anyone will know who the heck I am, except for my little face on the left, that I finally got to work. It kept telling me that there was an error submitting the picture, not uploading it, then I come here and there I am, lol

The name thing seems to be ongoing. It is using the login name (which I don't want to change) instead of the display name.

I have manually gone into the user records of Tara and Kristie_W and chaged their USERNAME to their old display name.

HOWEVER

on this board, they must be the same thing.

So, Mary Kay, let me know what you want to do. I'll go in and make your username whatever you like. Or we can leave as is. Unfortunately, on this board, we can't have it both ways.

How come I can only add 2 smiley's per reply? I had a bunch in my journal entry tonight but it wouldn't let the reply go through until I had taken most of them out. Is there something I need to change somewhere?

I believe it's a bandwidth thing, about the smilies. We are currently limited to two per post.

I had registered for the LCE, and I had posted a couple of times, but when I went to log on now that the new boards are here, I wasn't recognized, so I had to reregister and lost all the information I had already posted. I looked for some of the things I had posted, and they were listed as being posted by a "guest." Is there a reason I was kicked out of the system? I hadn't been on in a few days, but I didn't think that would be a problem. Just want to make sure everything is okay with my membership so that if I go to the trouble of setting up my profile and signature again, it will stick around this time.

I had a similar problem the other day, I was using quick post, when I was done I think I hit the regular post button and the quick post disappeared....
didn't see it posted, had no idea what happened.
still working on figuring out these new buttons.

Is this board in some way "anti-Netscape"? I find that when using IE, the screen for a full reply seems to come up correctly and properly fits the windows. But, in Netscape, there seem to be formatting problems. For several reasons, I prefer Netscape. Any chance there is a formatting option button you can check to clear up the problems in Netscape?
