They are right where you left them, Janet.

Here are links to the threads you started:

One of your threads

The other one

When you come onto the forum, if you don't see the threads that you were posting to, try this. Go to the top of the forum listings and click the "Find" button. From the drop down menu, choose "Advanced Search." Beyond the many ways to search on that page, you'll see that there is a quick link: "Topics you posted to with new posts." That will give you a list of threads you've contributed to if there have been any other posts.

Another way to find posts you made is to go to your profile. ("my space" button and choose "profile.") On your profile page, near the bottom, is a link to "View all your posts." It will give you a list of links to all your posts, most recent first.

Oh ok, it seem to take a day or so before the posts are up. Is that right?

No, Janet. The only contributions that might be delayed in showing up are: pictures, recipes, articles and posts to the Low Carb Diet & Health News Section, since these are moderated.

If you're not seeing your post right away, try hitting your refresh or reload button.

I am unable to start a post, or reply to a post other than quick reply...?

amy:

you are not restricted in any way - I just went and checked your profile to make sure.

are you using a different computer from the one you usually do????

If not, I would suggest you clear your cookies and cache, and try again.

I'm not sure why you should be having this problem, but it's not something in your profile or the administrative settings.

Thanks. I was hoping that I wasn't banned due to my email to you. I think it might have come off really rude and that wasn't my point. Thanks for not banning me.

No worries about the email.

Let me be clear about why people get banned:

1. they are trolls, only here to stir up dissent, and not to offer or recieve support and info
2. they are spamming the board with an ad in one way or another
3. they use foul language or vulgar sexual talk
4. they are asked to end a line of discussion and refuse to
5. they are hurtful to another person
6. they are harrassing someone

I didn't give your email a second thought.

Let's just figure out why you can't start a new topic?
