Hi Andrea... just a quick question... There are a number of regular posters - usually moderators like Maggie, or regulars, whose posts I'd like not to miss. I have tried clicking on the notifications tab to be notified when a given person has posted and it tells me that I may not subscribe to that option. Is that because I am not a moderator? I sort of miss the old members lists - when I go away on trips and come back and feel disoriented, I like to check on my regulars and catch up with them. Am I missing something? (Like how to get to a place where all the LCE members are again?)

thanks! And sorry to bother!

Hugs,
Rachel

no, you are not a bother. I have to see what I did with the settings - I might have set it so that you have to be a poster in the thread to get notificcations on it.

I can change that. Just give me 24hrs or so.

If you don't hear from me, I give you permission to bug me again.

as to the member list... actually, displaying the member list is a huge drain on server resources, so I don't know if that will come back. But I will look into it.

a.

Hi Andrea,

I too tried to do the "notify me of posts made by this user" thing and it told me that I couldn't do it because I'm not a moderator. This was just last week or so. Were you able to make the adjustment for Rachel?

Thanks!

Nope. Still got a "the administrators of this site have not made this option available to you" message.

Thanks for looking into it!!

Hi guys.. yeah, I tried to get notified on Maggie's posts, as an example (I love her posts and would like to know when she has posted something) and it gave me the same as Bon, "The administrators of this site have not made this option available to you".

Sorry to be a pest on this issue!

yoo hooooo!! I just tried it (on YOU!) and it seems to work great! I'll give it one more try out 'there' in the broader forum and see what happens.

Thank you so much for checking on this and my only regret is that you are up at 6:30am dealing with this!

Thanks again Andrea!
