The D.O. said that my N.D. will have far better test for adrenal issues than she has available and asked me to go see my N.D. for those tests.

I finally got my S.P.II book, now just to have the time and physical ability to read

I'm beginning to wonder if chronic pain from the arthritis coupled with stress is what has been my issues??

I started OO yesterday (internally) and am feeling better. I'll keep you posted.

***of course, I'm not a doctor and I'm not recommending treatment for anything. I'm simply sharing what I'm doing***

Yea, I think I've had major wooshes 2x when I've done OO. The first time, I had a 10 pound loss in about 5 days! (and it was tom! )

I am also here to report that I have more energy! Could it be that my pain level is what has been stressing my adrenals so much that I couldn't handle the other stresses of life? I'm not sure why OO would make me have more energy, but it definitely is.

I'm sure pain would sap your energy and stress your adrenals! If OO helps with pain then it makes sense it would give you more energy. Go OO!!!

Alice, it was funny -- I actually noticed the energy jump within just a few minutes of taking the OO. I wonder if it has some specific function with the adrenals? Unfortunately the copy of The Cure is in the Cupboard I had was from the library, and to my knowledge, that is the only "research" done on OO.

Whatever, though, it is definitely working!!

My energy is up again, too, after seeing the DO yesterday...

Hi y'all Been reading your posts with much empathy. I'm struggling with adrenal fatigue, hormones changing, low thyroid....Things are better after starting bio-identical hormones, no thanks to my regular Dr.
Anyway, there's a site about adrenals, and a book, you might find very useful:
site: adrenalfatigue.org book: Adrenal Fatigue by James L Wilson, ND, DC, PhD, A-Z oops, might have got carried away with the initials...
Also found a site once by a guy specializing in hormones. He explains the "OAT Syndrome" -- ovaries, adrenals, and thyroid. He believes if one is off, they all are, cuz they are so interconnected.
By the way, if you don't mind telling this newbie to threads....what is LOL?

I stumbled on thi s site. I went to my MD looking for an antidepression medication instead I was sent to the local pharmacist for a lecture on adrenal fatigue. I have lots of vitamins and a diet change. I am off my birthcontrol pills and put on natural progesteron. What am I in for. I thought the increase in stress mad me inot sleep well, I gained a belly from not eating well and drinking too much beer, and I thought my personality change was do to being too tired. I tried the diet but am stumped on what to eat. I crave carbs, and salt and do not want to give up my beer. Janet
