Default Pre-eclampsia

I found this news item interesting, considering I suffered with this during my last pregnancy, to the point they wanted me to deliver 5 weeks ahead of schedule, but settled for 3 weeks.

There is evidence that pre-eclampsia is an auto-immune disorder.

I wish they'd had this kind of information, and a treatment, 32 years ago.

For any of you ladies of child-bearing age, this is very interesting news.

Thanks, Nita!

When I went to nursing school, we were taught that the only "cure" for pre-eclampsia was delivery, and everyone walked a fine line to get the baby to term without sending the mother into crisis.

This research is good news, indeed.
