Night Sweats

I have been experiencing night sweats recently. (I wake up really hot and will throw off my blanket and sometimes take my shirt off due to feeling really hot. We keep the house at 66 at night) I was attributing this to probably starting menopause (I am 50 years old and had my last TOM in mid-October.)

However, I was looking on-line and night sweats can be from other things. I was wondering if I should see my Dr or just assume it's the start of "the change". Normally, I tend to feel cold rather than warm most of the time.

I do have a Dr's appointment for tonight. The heat is moving from the night to the day, so I expect it's the start of menopause.

Talk to your Dr. You probably need some blood work done. I also suffer from night sweats , and the occasional day sweats. I took hormones for 5 years , and the doc took me off.



Victors are really just temporary quitters who then regroup with a vengeance.

I did see my Dr on Tuesday. She had them take blood to check my hormone levels. They called last night to let me know some hormone was hight, indicating the start of menopause.
