| I feel like I should chime in to plug kefir - look in the caveman diet forum for more info on it. It's acceptible for low carbers and the lactose intolerant, and has more probiotic action than yogurt. If you're looking for a yogurt, though, someone said that Blue Bunny 85 yogurt is made with splenda and doesn't affect ketosis very drastically. (There's some evidence that the carb labels for kefir and yogurt aren't accurate, because the lactose/milk sugar is converted by the live cultures). xoxo |

| Hello, Shannon here. I recently had a sinus infection, took antibiotics and that is how the yeast infection started. I think some of the symptoms were already there, however I am taking probiotics, and had to go to the drug store for other remidies. It has been 1 week, and I think chocolate is another yeast producer for me. Hope this helps. |

| Tracey... if your goal is to eat yogurt again that is different from removing yeast from your system. I had off and on yeast infections when I was younger and have had nothing since low carbing. I come from the group that believes that the flora that is found in the system is a very healthy kind - that the yogurts have acidophillus as Kimi mentioned. There is a really great organic line of yogurts called Stoneyfield's. I buy and eat the PLAIN (unflavored) whole fat yogurt and mix low carb granola or blueberries or strawberries or whatever in it. I have become accustomed to the taste (without adding Splenda) and quite like it - plus, because it is whole fat it is creamy and nice. There a few grams of sugars listed on the label but some people will argue that these are to feed the good bacteria. In any case... if your goal is to get back to yogurts try the Stoneyfield's plain. If your goal is to get rid of some nasty candida then check out Sharon's site and get cleansed! Good luck! Hugs, Rachel 165/138/128 Haec trutina errat. | anyone ever have yeast on their body? The doctor told me about five years ago that it's caused by the enzymes in detergents. It's on my breasts and they itch like crazy. I put monistat on them morning and night, and he once prescribed diflucan (one a week for 4 weeks) all to no avail. Any suggestions? |

| I haven't had this problem, but I would think that maybe using virgin coconut oil might do the trick. Beth (aka Fuelmanswife) http://www.marykay.com/bethsimmons |
