| TOM is comming. And I am ravenous. This is awful. I have enough willpower not to stray from this WOL but MAN AM I HUNGRY. I do allow myself to eat appropriate LC things but it just never is enough. When this happened last month I just thought it was a fluke. but again it is happening and I am running out of food to eat. I am just wondering how the rest of you deal with things like this. | This happens to me, and like my previous post, I'm over due.....again. So my hunger during my TOM seems and probably is longer. But what I do is eat bigger meals, but still stay in my range of carbs, maybe eat some more meat, like chicken, hamburgers, or more likely I eat another salad. Can never have too many veggies. Just munch on them. What I do is get some chicken out of the freezer, and boil it and munch. I'm still in my range, and I'm filled

| My TOM I crave sweet things. It feels like I'm a lot hunger right before it too. What would be good to snack on?

| I made it through TOM without a trip down Pepperidge Farm Road as last month. I know bars aren't the best way to handle sweet's cravings, but I tried a chocolate croissant breakfast bar by Biochem(touts 2 carbs, hidden carbs probably much more) and Atkins Chocolate Chip Cookies(that you bake). I tried Atkins Bbq chips for the other craving. Not the best solution, but I didn't eat any other "stuff" as in 53 carbs for that small slice OF PP FARM ITEM. Overeating did not seem to be a problem once I ate those (salt/sugar) foods as it has been when I've tried to ignore that once a month craving.

| Re: TOM cravings-Oh, how could I forget, Mock Danish on another day during TOM. Now, that is probably a much better choice than any bar. My teen tasted it and ate most of it. He has been asking me (including tonight) Can you make that danish stuff?

| Are any of you taking the pill? I'm curious because I think it's compounding my cravings each month. It also makes me very nauseated when I don't drink enough water.

| I have been on the pill for about 6 years, so I really dont know if my cravings get worse from being on it. I can tell that I do crave more sweet things starting about a week or so before hand. I know I eat more during it too, but thats normal. I just try not to go crazy. :-)
