This TOM and last month too I have had horrendous cramps the week before and the first two or three days. I know part of it is hormones since I used to cramp to the point I was physically sick to my stomach and I run a temp--up and down--I am either freezing or sweating and there is NO inbetween the first two days. I hadn't done it in so long I had forgotten how miserable it was--It has been like 13 years since I have been "normal" for what I was as a teen and in my early 20's. In a way it actually feels good to know that my body can go back to "normal" if that is what you want to call it, but on the other hand, holy cow--if I have to go through this every month I may be ready to go back to not having one. . .I have also been in a "funk" the last week. I don't know where that came from--I have been very low key the last 4 months since I started LC ing so this took me by surprise that I would be hormonally pissy, but I guess it is good--I was always this way before the hormone problems started.

Has anyone with PCOS had this reversal happen to them? I was diagnosed with PCOS in January and told this diet would definitely help with the symptoms but I didn't expect to have a 3 month total reversal. I am not certain what to think. Any thoughts?

Ive not had any cramping... but I am thinking about trying Metformin. I've been doing some reading on the net and a lot of research suggests a low carb diet along with metformin can help with weightloss, which will ultimately help PCOS. Weight isnt the only cause of PCOS but its a trigger in most women.

WEight loss isn't the issue for me--I am seriously overweight but LCing has taken 40 lbs off in not quite 17 weeks--I don't thing it is going to fly off any faster that than anyway, so no added medications for me! I do have asthma so those meds are counteracting the weight loss a little--always do--but If eel good and the asthma symptoms have been way less than any other year so far! Thank you for your response.
