Getting Out of Your Own Way

Chair Dancing Around the World DVD Review

Once I started dropping the pounds using my new low carb food plan, I started getting the urge to exercise. I knew if I did that my weight would probably come off quicker plus it would tighten up the rest of my body. Not to mention the health benefits. So I started trying to walk along the dirt road in front of my home. I have had very severe knee problems in the last few years. Most of the time I have had to use a cane and when I would shop at my local Walmart Superstore I could not make it through the whole store. I have lost 32 pounds since December and found that I could walk farther than before. Afterwards though, I would be in pain and basically worn out. I had to find a way to exercise.......

There’s nothing worse than finally deciding to start an exercise program (after years and years of avoiding it!) and then finding that you’re still not getting the results you want. What if you could only workout from home and you couldn't find the time to go to the gym or purchase expensive equipment? What if you were told that you could only do three exercises for the rest of your life to stay healthy, strong, and fit? You know what I would say? Great! The simpler the better!

Walk the Pounds Away!

By denise_nowell

For years now I have been overweight—well actually obese. I tried to diet with no success. I tried to exercise, just to feel like I had beed run over by a Mac truck. I tried high impact, low impact, lifting weights, you name it. It seems that anything I tried either didn't work or it was just to much for my 344 pound body to handle.

Confessions of a Low Carb Convert Kate Street, MS

Kate Street, Personal TrainerI was wrong. I admit it. In the beginning of my fitness career I encouraged my clients to follow a high-carb, low-fat diet for weight-loss and optimal health. That's what I learned in school, in my certification courses, and that's what all the other experts believed, so who was I to doubt it?
