- 4 egg whites
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1 cup splenda For the filling:
- 4 egg yolks
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup splenda
- 1/3 cup fresh lime juice
- 1 cup heavy cream – chilled
- 1 tablespoon lime zest

Instructions
Meringue: Preheat the oven to 275 degrees. Generously butter a 9-inch pie plate. In a mixing bowl beat the egg whites and cream of tartar until foamy. Beat in the splenda very slowly 1 tableshppon at a time until stiff and glossy about 10 minutes.
