About LCE

Low Carb Eating is a Way of LifeLowCarbEating.com (LCE) is dedicated to encouraging and informing those following a reduced carbohydrate eating plan. We are not affiliated with any specific low carb diet plan.

Founded in 1999 by Andrea Mondello as a small, self-help site to share her own success with low carb in the hopes of helping others, LCE has grown into a friendly, thriving gathering place for low carbers to share recipes, tips, support, encouragment and companionship. As Andrea prepared to move on to other projects, she want to make sure the site remained available for the members. So LowCarbEating.com was purchased by Dixie Vogel in 2007(aka "goddess"), a long time site member, moderator and web consultant. It officially changed hands on April Fool's day.

We take our responsibility to provide accurate information in a safe and encouraging web community very seriously! We welcome your comments and do pay attention to member feedback. We ignore whining. And we have a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to spaming, flaming, trolling, vulgarity, and repeated rudeness.

Please use the site contact form to contact us. It is very important that you understand that we do not answer or respond to individual diet-related or health-related questions. Questions of this nature should always be referred to our forums.

LowCarbEating.com is a NOT a non-profit organization. We provide content and community; some of our partners offer products and services. We generally receive a small commission from these companies for each sale referred by our site. If you have a product or service in which you think our visitors would be interested, or you are an author with content and experience that would interest our readers, contact us so we can talk together about a possible affiliation.
